Responsibilities
Primary responsibility is application architecture and hands-on programming/development of web applications utilizing knowledge of C# and ASP.NET.
In addition to new development, will be responsible for maintenance of existing marketing communications applications.
Ability to initiate projects from scratch as well as pick up existing projects mid-stream
Participate with other departments in planning and execution of business requirements, quality assurance and architecture, in additional to development of applications
Help to define and adhere to coding and development standards
Candidate must be experienced in the development of a variety of web applications, leveraging CMS, third-party APIs, and HTML/Javascript/CSS.
Qualifications
Bachelor Degree or equivalent experience (6
years back-end web application development)
4
years' C#/ASP.NET experience
CMS experience is a plus. Sitecore, Ektron, Kentico
Ability to hand code HTML/CSS/Javascript
Knowledge of web application architecture/design, including databases, security and performance
Experience with database systems and thorough knowledge of SQL
Experience with multiple languages and platforms
PHP/LAMP experience a plus
Preference is given to candidates who can demonstrate resourcefulness in creating technical solutions leveraging production quality open-source libraries and services. Analysis and problem solving skills are required along with excellent communication skills.
The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment on several projects concurrently.
