Our client is looking for a Product Manager --- Back-end Services to join their team on a full time basis.
DESCRIPTION
Summary:
Leads and executes individual product initiatives within a business unit. Delivers high quality products on time, within budget, and that meet defined goals for the product. Leads multi-functional teams to ensure product requirements are completed and technical requirements can be created. Owns the product launch throughout its lifecycle, including the identification and initial diligence into business or technology partnerships. Measurable contribution to the growth strategy of the business unit is important.
Essential Functions:
oDevelops and presents product requirements, including timelines and dependencies.
oManages customer and internal requirements for existing and future products.
oWorks with multi-functional resources so that product implementations are delivered according to plan.
oDevelops a strong understanding of industry, client, and future prospect needs and opportunities.
oResearches and develops appropriate business and/or technology relationships as related to development of product initiatives.
oAssists in key sales opportunities.
Experience:
8 years Product Management experience within the service industry, high tech or advanced CRM applications preferred. 4 years of progressively increasing project or management experience and responsibilities. Experience building and managing teams a plus.
COMPLEXITY: Must embrace change and have a passion for building great companies. Self-directed; requires minimal supervision on work products. Strong project management skills, detail-oriented with solid analytical skill. Ability to develop business relationships and partnerships as needed.
WORKING RELATIONSHIPS:
Frequent interaction with business unit manager as well as cross-functional managers and developers.
EDUCATION: College degree or equivalent work experience required.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
