Buckeye Partners is currently seeking an Equipment and Maintenance Technician with experience in pipeline, terminal or plant operations and maintenance to join our growing team!

Role
Summary:
The Equipment and Maintenance Technician role is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing equipment and pipeline and terminal facilities.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities include:
Daily Operations. Performing overall operations and maintenance support for pipeline and terminal facilities in the assigned area.
Routine and Preventative Maintenance. Managing preventative maintenance projects and repairs for the work center and assisting with routine operations and maintenance of pipeline responsibilities as required.
Regulatory Compliance Inspections. Performing and recording regulatory and Company policy preventative maintenance inspections and procedures as identified in the 195 O & M Manual, Maintenance Manual and on the J.D. Edwards system.
Manuals and Schematics. Applying equipment manuals and schematics during the troubleshooting, installation, start-up and design of new systems and equipment.
Personnel Training. Training Operations personnel and others in the use of new or modified equipment or software.
Documentation. Maintaining equipment records and furnishing documentation per Company policy of work performed.
One-Call Investigations. Performing One-Call investigations, providing watch and protection along the pipeline during third party excavation and maintaining all associated paperwork per company policy.
And other duties as assigned.

Position Requirements:
Two-year associate's degree in a technical field (electrical, electronic, or mechanical) OR the equivalent combination of education/work experience is required.
Experience in pipeline, terminal or plant operations and maintenance is required.
Must have the ability to navigate basic computer systems (i.e. Windows).
Basic knowledge of SCADA applications and MS Office applications is a plus.

Certificates & Licenses:
The individual must possess a valid driver's license of a type or class required to operate appropriate vehicles.

Other Skills, Attributes and Abilities:
In order to be successful in this position, the individual must possess good communication (both oral and written) and interpersonal skills.
The individual must have good analytical skills and good technical aptitude.
The individual must be capable of performing the physical labor required to complete the responsibilities of this position (including capability to use related tools and work equipment).

Physical & Safety Requirements:
The individual must meet medical criteria established by OSHA for emergency response.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
