A Matthews, NC law firm is seeking an REO Closing Paralegal 4
years of experience in the residential real estate/foreclosure/default industry.
MUST HAVE PROVEN RECORD:
- Real Estate Closing Practice
- Prepare settlement statements, deeds, and other related documentation
- Title Work
- Understand the basic effect of defects on title as shown in a title search
- Conveyances
- Powers of Attorney, Assignments and Corporate Resolutions Candidates
- Able to interact well with teammates, team leads, and attorneys
- Candidates will have direct communication with firm clients, and must have excellent writing and verbal skills, strong analytical skills, strong organization skills, and have the ability to work independently, multi-task
- Able to meet many various deadlines
- Proficient in Microsoft Office 2010 products to include Word, Outlook and Excel.
- Experience in Ramquest, SoftPro, and CaseAware a MUST

Qualifications:
- Four year degree OR certified paralegal with 3
years REO Foreclosure experience
- 55
wpm
- Proficient in Microsoft Office 2010 products to include Word, Outlook and Excel
- Ramquest, SoftPro, and CaseAware

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
