Technician (Electronics / Mechanical)
Title: Technician
Location: Issaquah, WA
12 months contract, $ 24.00 - 27.00 an hour rate
JOB TITLE: Electronics / Mechanical Technician
MUST HAVE mechanical expertise, be able to recognize mechanical parts that are out of compliance because of coatings, motors, etc.
Electronics/mechanical tech work regarding updating an old design to be RoHS compliant (and if time allows, it would be nice to have some help with R&D development for a future platform we're working on). This requires the individual to have experience with:
o Have hands-on experience with low-voltage DC electronic components (surface mount and thru-hole)
o Experience in Altium Designer building schematics, creating library components, and laying out large PCB's with up to 8 layers and high-density chips
o Familiar with RoHS compliance and able to retrieve RoHS evidence of replacements
o Have hands-on experience with PCB-related mechanical components such as connectors, heat-sinks, and fasteners
o Comfortable working in an online PDM tool (they'll need a little training on this, we can do that internally here though)
o Familiar with creating ECR/ECOs and the process of approval
o Analog and digital design experience preferred
o Works well in a team and is willing to put in extra hours if needed
o Experience with Microsoft Office
o Needs to be local but hours are somewhat flexible
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
