Information Assurance Manager

SUBSYSTEMs is seeking Information Assurance / Cyber Security Analysts , Engineers and/or Subject Matter Experts to support an active government contract opportunity at the Picatinny Arsenal supporting Army Information Assurance and Cyber Security activities.

We are seeking staff with the skills, education and experience described below:

Experience/skills:
Mid to Senior level Information Assurance Manager (IAM) support with general understanding of the full DIACAP/ RMF lifecycle. Experience in reviewing network configurations to determine risk postures and compliance with DoD / Army regulations / Best Business Practices. Ability to work with the IA User community to assist them with meeting IA compliance requirements.
Provide technical support to System Owners with regard to IA requirements pertaining to the Certification and Accreditation Lifecycle.
Experience in the strategic development and implementation of the RMF for a multi-layered complex organization is preferred. The successful candidate will be a team player with strong written and verbal communication skills.
Day to day coordination and support of the Government customer is required, and the candidate will be called upon to brief Senior Leadership. Experience with the NIST 800-53 controls and the Risk Management Framework (RMF) is also preferred.

Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be required to provide advice and guidance to the Government on the organization and command IA/CS Programs. He or she shall report the status of organization and command IA/CS Management Programs for IA workforce training and certification requirements and IA regulatory guidance interpretation. The successful candidate will research, interpret, and make recommendations based upon regulatory guidance pertaining to IA training and certification requirements for the IA workforce and general users.
He or she will research and interpret IA regulatory guidance and assist Army organizations with compliance issues, and report and provide mitigation strategies to the Government for security violations and incidents.
The successful candidate will be required to perform analysis on security requirements for access to information systems to provide guidance to Army organizations.
The primary area of technical activity will be in the detailed review of POA&Ms and DIACAP/RMF packages that are being submitted for approval.
Candidate will be responsible for thorough technical reviews of proposed mitigations, and working with IAPMs and System Owners to affect changes as necessary.
Additional areas of technical contribution include C&A Support CoNs Continuity of Operations Program (COOP) Privacy Program Incident Response Program IA/CS - Intelligence IAVM Compliance IA/CS Program Awareness, Training & Certification
Security Assessment Support
The successful candidate will be a team player with strong written and verbal communication skills. Day to day coordination and support of the Government customer is required.
Requirements:
ACTIVE SECRET OR HIGHER SECURITY CLEARANCE IS REQUIRED.
Certifications:
As a condition of employment, the candidate must hold an IAM-I certification, such as: CAP, GSLC, Security+; CECISSP is preferred.
Education:
Bachelor's Degree with specialization in Information Assurance, Information Management Systems, or Information Security preferred.
Required Experience - Mininum of 5-8 years of relevant IA/Cyber Security Experience
