Tier I and Tier II automotive manufacturer is seeking a production engineer to be assigned to a production area. As the production engineer, you will report to an engineering manager and will work with a team of engineers in an assigned work area. Responsibilities will include supporting manufacturing lines, meeting production goals, training maintenance members, increasing production through put and decreasing scrap. Projects will include equipment and tooling troubleshooting, eliminating downtime, improving and creating line layouts, developing new model process layout, creating work instructions, designing fixtures and jigs, assisting with capital equipment projects, line modifications and managing time lines for projects. This is a hands-on position that requires qualified candidates to be on the manufacturing floor up to 80-90% of their day. You will be on the manufacturing floor daily communicating with the production staff and working with your team to continuously improve production. Candidates should enjoy working in a team environment, communicating with hourly staff to enhance production and being creative in the continuous improvement process. REQUIREMENTS for the Production Engineer:
1. A minimum of an Associate's degree (technical degree preferred) with at least 3-5 years of similar work experience or a Bachelor's degree (technical degree preferred) with 1-2 years of work experience in a similar role
2. Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills
3. Experience implementing process improvements (scrap reduction, increase efficiencies, etc.)
4. Experience working in fast paced, mass production environments
5. New model launch experience
6. Microsoft Office
Skills preferred but NOT required:
1. Automotive supplier work experience
2. Machining and heat treating processes
3. Tooling troubleshooting
4. PLC troubleshooting
5. AutoCAD

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
