Incoming Inspection/Machining Inspection

CONTRACT POSITION :
3 MONTHS - 11-16/Hr Job Purpose Test and inspect machined components at various stages of the production process and compile and evaluate statistical data to determine and maintain quality and reliability of products.
Duties and Responsibilities Primary function will be using the Microvu vision inspection system, calipers, micrometers and other inspection equipment to validate the quality of machined components.
Interpret engineering drawings, schematic diagrams or instructions and confers with management or engineering staff to determine quality and reliability standards.
Record test results on critical features.
Evaluate data to validate or indicate deviations from existing standards.
Cleans work area, tools and equipment.
And other duties as assigned.
Qualifications Qualifications include:
Good math skills.
Must be detail oriented and accurate in filling out reports.
Ability to work with calipers, micrometers and other inspection equipment.
Able to read and comprehend blueprints.
Ability to write simple correspondence.
Ability to work with a computer.
Working Conditions Work is typically performed while sitting or standing in temperature and humidity controlled environment.
Physical Requirements Constantly remains in a stationary position over 50% of the time.
Occasionally moves about inside the office for various reasons.
Constantly operates inspection equipment and other office equipment such as a computer.
Constantly communicates with other employees regarding certain matters.
Constantly inspects machined components.
Frequently lifts and/or moves up to 10 pounds and occasionally lifts and/or moves up to 25 pounds.
Constantly works in normal machine shop environment.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
