Job Description:
WindRiver Lakefront and Golf Community is seeking full and part-time bartenders for special events and regular dinner service. Several positions are available and responsibilities may include cocktailing, bartending, banquet service, outdoor shifts, table service, and training. Our fine fining restaurant requires strong wine and classic cocktail knowledge, experience with scotch and bourbon, and a personable attitude. Our banquet and event staff will require more high volume experience. Experience is a must, and the pay will reflect it. Bartenders can be expected to make well over $100/shift in gratuity in addition to higher than average hourly rates (depending on experience). We are looking for long-term and highly motivated, friendly individuals to join our team. This is a very unique opportunity to be apart of the best overall dining experience in East TN. Server Job Duties:
Prepare bar for service o
Protects establishment and guests by adhering to sanitation, safety, and alcohol beverage control policies. o
Maintain the bar throughout service with emphasis on quality and controls. o
Up-sells the guest on wine or introduces the in-house sommelier to the table to assist. o
Transmits orders to kitchen (for those dining in the bar) by recording guests' choices; identifying guests' special dietary needs and special requests. o
Keeps kitchen staff informed by noting timing of meal progression. o
Obtains revenues by totaling charges; issuing bill; accepting payment; delivering bill and payment to host person; returning change or credit card and signature slip to guests. o
Completion of all shift closing duties as detailed by manager.
Other duties include: greeting guests, coat check, confirming reservations, making cocktails and use of POS system, After training, bartender must be able to communicate a clear understanding of our menu, sourcing, wine list, concept, and history of the development.
Training, Compensation &
Benefits: ?
All Bartenders are compensated on an hourly basis (standard industry rates) PLUS gratuity. All gratuities are shared among the servers, server assistants and bar tender. Bartenders gratuity per shift has averaged >$100. ?
All bartenders will receive both on-the-job and structured training in all aspects of Citico's steps of service. Servers will gain knowledge of our local food providers and understand the basics of wines and wine service. Servers will participate in scheduled wine tasting to deepen their knowledge of featured wines. ?
All bartenders are hired into a part-time position with the opportunity to grow into a full-time position based on performance, tenure and growth of the business. Full-time positions are eligible for full benefits as offered by KemperSports Management.

Qualifications: ?
Prior bartending experience is required. Prior experience in fine dining a PLUS. Must have valid ABC license. ?
Positive Attitude, Works well in a team environment, Success Driven, Reliable and Professional Appearance. ?
Servers must have a strong attention to details and excellent communication skills.
