International manufacturing firm is seeking a Sales Engineer for their Shelbyville, Indiana office. This is a full-time, direct hire position with company benefits.
Job Duties:
- Serve customers by identifying their needs, engineering adaptations of products, equipment and services
- Establish personal rapport with potential and existing customers
- Submit orders by conferring with technical support staff
- Prepare sales engineering reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing sales information and engineering and application trends
- Establish new accounts and service accounts by identifying potential customers
Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in a related field
- Bilingual Japanese/English language abilities
- Prior sales/technical experience is preferred
- Experience with general programming
- Good written and verbal communication skills
