Design Engineer

Is so, this position is for you! You will design, test and develop product and product components.
RESPONSIBILITIES
oDesign and develop product component parts, product sub-assemblies and product complete assemblies
oWork with Drafting Personnel on the product detailed layout, detailed prints, parts specifications and Bill of Material.
oAnalyze and interpret test data and make such modifications as may become necessary to meet certain product performance and safety requirements.
oSchedule the activities relative to the design and development of a product or project assignment.
oUpdate the schedule as required.
oFormulate product design specifications and update these specifications as required.
oBecome thoroughly knowledgeable about the Approval Agency requirements of concern, such as, U L or CSA or ASME.
oSuggest new product ideas and maintain records for potentially patentable ideas.
oWork in a team environment.
oProvides production support to the machining area and the assembly area
Requirements:
oBS in Engineering Field, Preferably Mechanical
o3-5 years' experience in Design/Product Engineering
oSolid Works (2D & 3D)
oProject Management- From design concept to manufacturing
oBasic Electrical Knowledge
Preferred:
Experience with Heat Transfers and Air Movements is a plusEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
