Data Analyst with Strong SQL ability and a reporting background
XXXXXX has about 30 million records in Microsoft SQL Server 2012 for internal use. This is the primary database and contains confidential data we process for our client contracts. We also populate and host a client's Tableau Server. Tableau knowledge is not required as we use Microsoft SQL to 'feed' data to Tableau.
There is another Microsoft SQL Server 2012 server with a similar amount of records but a limited dataset for clients who access this data via a customized .NET web application. Delimited data is imported into SQL Tables using other applications. Ultimately, we will fully populate the SQL Server with all datasets and data elements.
We receive data in a variety of fixed format files from our editing. A Grouping process from 3M produces data in multiple fixed formats. We have two .NET developers with 25
years' experience and enough Transact SQL and DBA to get by. We are Microsoft Partners and use Microsoft Server 2012 and Visual Studio 2008.
The optimal candidate is a self-motivated and disciplined problem solver with an impeccable work ethic for responsiveness and timely task completion.
