Applications Consultant Job Description
Looking for an opportunity to make a difference on a regular basis? The Applications Consultant is an integral part of a reporting and analytics team that is focused on leading and delivering value-based reporting services to our clients. We are looking for someone with the desire to lead coupled with the ability to get their hands dirty when needed This position will be located in our Bentonville, AR office, supporting customers focused on delivering results for the largest retailer in the world.
Primary Responsibilities
Lead the rapid report development process for current and prospective clients, including:
Recruiting, qualifying, training, motivating and managing a small team
Working with clients to ensure their needs are being exceeded, including requirements gathering, progress reviews and regular status updates
Working with sales to manage short and long term reporting projects, hitting deadlines agreed on during sales cycles
Follow the SDLC to satisfy reporting/solution needs for sustained and high ROI use cases and day to day reporting needs using a variety of techniques, E.g. - Excel, VBA, MS Access, SQL, RSI tools, Retailer Portals and other data sources.
Identify risk, understand potential impact and communicate to all stakeholders
Manage customer expectations and deliverables while maintaining continuously highEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
