We are seeking a
Product Engineer
to provide support for both internal and external customers. Job duties would require someone to become knowledgeable with all current product lines, facilitate costing, bill of materials creation, ECN's customer specifications, print and customer specifications control.
Primary
Responsibilities:
Become resident expert of product lines
Facilitate costing for Sales group on new and existing products within the organization
Review prints and specifications for accuracy and completeness
Act as internal liaison with customers' engineering department(s)
Produce ECNs
Update Bill of Materials
Support Purchasing and Manufacturing with technical needs
Answer questions and resolve technical issues with customers
Maintain records
Job Requirements:
BS in Engineering
3-5 years of related experience
Software skills: 2D and 3D drawing and drawing standards knowledge
Machining of high volume threaded parts
Automotive Quality systems and procedures
ECNs - Engineering Change Notices and requests
Engineering product testing standards and customer specifications
Experience in valves and rubber components (o-rings)
Additional Details:
Experience in Product Development
Ability to write technical specifications and technical reports
Understanding of quality systems and quality statistics
