Service Department Manager - Dealership Opportunity
Eagle's Nest Harley-Davidson is continuing to grow and looking to add a qualified Service Department Manager to our staff. Now under new ownership as of March 2014, this is your opportunity to be a part of an elite dealership with room for growth and training.
Required attributes and abilities:
Superior communication and customer service skills
Ability to work with a broad customer base and build long lasting relationships
Knowledge and experience with servicing Harley-Davidson motorcycles and other products sold by the dealership, or the demonstrated ability to quickly learn them
Recruiting, interviewing and hiring personnel
Developing and retaining key talent through individual development plans
Coordinates dealership training programs and service-related customer clinics
Monitors performance metrics on a daily basis to assure achievement of departmental goals
Ensures that Service Department is equipped with the necessary tools and maintained in proper working order
Develops, maintains, and adheres to a priority system for scheduling all service work, both customer and internal. Schedules and assigns job and work areas to employees according to their skills and knowledge
Accurately documenting work orders and price estimates
Experience with point-of-sale and Parts and Service management computer software
Must maintain a professional appearance and a neat, well organized department
Ability to accept and follow directions while meeting performance standards
Current motorcycle license
Clean DMV record and background check
