Summary:
We are seeking an individual with experience to assume the role of Activity Assistant. This person will be responsible for: Assisting in providing a diverse program of activities that enhances and meets the individual needs of the residents of our community, and that maximizes freedom of choice, independence, self-expression, and physical and cognitive abilities.

In addition to the talents listed above WESTliving is looking to fill this position with a person who possesses the following:

Responsibilities
Assist with planning and implementing activities and programs for residents.
Promote program goals and objectives by assisting with promotional flyers, advertising in restaurant, event decorations and event photography.
Work with team members and interfacing departments to ensure programming runs as planned and best practices are achieved.
Assist with hosting events and programs as outlined in event orders or directed by Activity Manager.
Assist with proper record keeping and documentation relative to activities.
Ensure work areas and activity storage areas are safe, clean and orderly.
Follow community fire safety, hazardous material, and infection control practices.
Promptly report any unsafe conditions or equipment.
Greet residents, visitors, and team members courteously.
Promote resident rights, dignity, and confidentiality standards.

Knowledge
High School Diploma or GED required, A.A. is preferred
Computers and computer software: Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
English language including spelling, composition and grammar

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
