Nurse Manager/ Director
JOB DUTIES:
The Manager will be responsible for maintaining the day-to-day operations of the Medical/Surgical and Intensive Care Units with job functions that include but are not limited to the following:
- Direct patient care activities through consultation and collaboration with frontline staff, physicians and the nursing executive team to ensure that patient care needs are met in a safe, timely manner using evidence-based practices.
- Maintain performance improvement initiatives and participate in all CQI activities to enhance the patient experience and department productivity.
- Responsible for all budgetary concerns including the development of a fiscal budget, maintaining appropriate staffing levels and capital equipment acquisition.
- Engage and effectively communicate in a professional manner with staff and others who are affiliated with the department.
Likewise, be dependable and flexible as needed.
Qualifications:
The qualified, successful candidate will have a strong foundation in the service specialty, quality measures, and compliance initiatives.
Must hold a bachelor's degree in nursing or be willing to begin a bachelor's program within the first year of employment.
In addition, candidate is required to have an ACLS, BLS, and PALS certification; 3-5 years nursing leadership experience preferred.
Must be well organized, exhibit good leadership, communication, direction, effective problem-solving skills, and coordination to the Medical/Surgical and Intensive Care Units.
Furthermore, identify the needs of the department to successfully achieve goals and promote the mission and vision of the organization.
Qualification/Certification:
Must hold a bachelor's degree in nursing, ACLS, BLS, and PALS Min.

3-5 yr.
