COMPANY PROFILE:
Family practice/primary care office serving Jasper, Alabama, and the surrounding communities. This physician-owned private practice has been seeing patients since 1997 as a solo physician operation, historically focusing on the areas of neurology and pain management. While these services are still offered, the clinic has expanded to general family practice and primary care services over its nearly 2 decades of operation. Today, they are seeking a talented family practice physician to join their team and help support their patient base of more than 2,000 local residents.
In a community-centric and supportive environment, the new physician will work with a support staff of seven (7) dynamic individuals, all dedicated to patient care. The office has a positive and professional work environment, conducive to long-term commitments, stability, and job satisfaction.
POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Serve as a primary care/family practice provider, treating patients across the lifespan. Seeing a low-stress volume of only 15 patients per day, physicians are supported by a full complement of office staff, including medical assistants who prepare patients for examinations.
There are no on-call responsibilities and the practice utilizes a well-supported EMR system.
REQUIREMENTS:
- valid Alabama medical license
- current DEA
- board certification or eligibility in Family Practice or a related field, highly preferred
