Quality Engineer

Innovative Office Products LLC (www.LCDarms.com) seeks a Quality Engineer. This position participates in the design, development, and execution of quality assurance and control systems. The position, as part of the Quality team, will provide support, direction, and leadership to the manufacturing teams.
The position requires a solid understanding of Lean Manufacturing practices and concepts and will help implement and improve those practices in Innovative's manufacturing processes.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing manufacturing company which distributes globally from its Easton, PA base.
Responsibilities include:
Design test and inspection methods used to identify defects and problems within the process.
Participate in continuous improvement projects to eliminate scrap and reduce rework operations.
Responsible for Quality System Maintenance.
Assist Quality Manager in establishing, implementing and maintaining the quality management system.
Root Cause analysis and implementation of corrective action for process related concerns.
Interface with engineering and operations to ensure transfer to production of new products are in accordance with approved data.
Support and lead the Quality Inspectors to ensure that products and processes comply with the relevant requirements of the quality management system.
Conduct audits, including closing out audit findings, creating audit findings reports and determine proper corrective and preventative actions.
Analyze failure, corrective and preventative action to respond to customer complaints.
Maintain company quality documentation
Continuously improve QA receiving inspection process and procedures.
Ensure timely resolution of supplier failure, corrective actions and preventative actions.
Manage supplier's performance and conduct audits.
Preparation of QA reports and metrics.
Update and maintain process control plans and FMEA's.

Qualifications include:
Four year degree in a technical field.
ASQ Quality Engineer certification desired.
Familiarity and exposure to ISO systems and implementations desired.
Prior experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
Sound knowledge of SPC, GD&T, FMEA, DOE.
Knowledge of gaging methodology and metrology.
Knowledge of quality management systems.
Working understanding of assembly methods, fixtures, tooling, and fabrication methods.
Six Sigma certification desired.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
