Quality Technician
Perform developmental work for research projects, improvement initiatives, and overall quality. Use and maintain physical testing equipment in lab. Provide technical support and guidance on projects, regarding lab testing and analysis, to assist in overall evaluations of products, processes, and potential raw material.
POSITION FUNCTIONS:
Perform physical testing of raw material, production, development trials, and composites
Compose Technical Lap Reports, related to testing and research goals
Prepare Master Control Samples
Maintain The C of C system effectively
Assist with PPAPs and Advance Quality Planning
Inspect and recommend disposition of Nonconforming or suspect material
Support the Market manager with quality requests
Work closely with line personnel to ensure quality is understood throughout the production process
Provide administrative support for the Quality Department
Ability to follow and interpret policies and procedures
Work with customer service as needed
Ensure calibrations conducted as required
Follow up on corrective action or action plans
Participate in production meeting to follow up on customer needs
Document and data control
