A. Job Summary & Dimensions

Responsible to assemble parts in a manual, hand-assembly environment, and also in a semi-automated assembly department.

1. Able to accurately produce parts by operating all manual work benches and all semi-automated assembly machines to achieve a minimum productivity rate of 80%.
2. Perform set up activities, if trained and as required, on all manual work benches and semi-automated assembly machines.
3. Perform quality checks, audits and inspections to ensure products are defect free. Follow established process and procedures to achieve 0 quality defects.
4. Enter data into the business software as required to complete the assembly job. As required, use the core system to perform Quantum checks, confirmations, order materials and submit a maintenance request in Frontline.
5. Follow standard work procedures before, during and at the end of the shift as defined by the department guidelines. (5S)

II. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS (Indicate what is required versus what is considered preferred)

1. High School Diploma or Equivalent.
2. Able to learn the business operating systems. Able to learn to use measuring instruments.
3. Good manual dexterity, able to sit or stand for 8-hour shift.
4. Able to lift/push/pull up to 35 lbs.
5. Team oriented.
6. Quality and Safety conscious.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
