Phlebotomist

This is a Full-time Phlebotomist position working for us at Noble Correctional Institution.
Minimum Qualifications -- 6 months training or 6 months experience in collecting medical data from persons, determining acceptability of potential blood donors, reading blood pressure, and venipuncture or venipuncture/phlebotomy.
Duties include but are not limited to-- Performs duties related to collection of laboratory specimens including, but not limited to:
perform venipuncture to collect blood specimens as ordered; properly labels, centrifuges, and prepares specimens for transport to the Corrections Medical Center (CMC) according to established laboratory procedures; performs onsite, waivered tests as orders; maintains a detailed tracking log of all laboratory test procedures performed, reports statistical information; performs EKG's as assigned; monitors the Medical Operations Scheduling System (MOSS) for laboratory test specimen results; timely file laboratory test results in offender's medical files; orders and maintains laboratory equipment/supplies; maintains strict accountability for laboratory needles and other venipuncture equipment complies report and compiles statistics; cross training provided to perform Health Information Technician duties as needed; performs other duties as assigned.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
