Avalon Gardens Rehabilitation and Health Care Center is seeking a full-time Inservice/Infection Control Coordinator. The Inservice/Infection Control Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the education of all staff members,as well as maintaining infection control policies and procedures. Duties include both orientation of new employees and continuing, annual education requirements, record-keeping of the same, and scheduling classes for CPR recertification. The Coordinator will also be responsible for tracking and reviewing post-admission infections, reporting statistical data of the same and preparing reports for Quality Assurance Committee meetings and as necessary.
Candidates must possess a valid, NYS RN license and a baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years' experience in inservice/infection control in a healthcare setting and be available to work flexible hours. The Coordinator must work with every shift to ensure 100% completion of inservices and adherence to proper infection control policies.

bed, long-term care facility. We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, including a 401(k) with a company match. Salary is commensurate with experience.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
