EH&S Specialist
Career Transitions, LLC is working with a client who has been in business for 70
years who is seeking a EH&S Specialist. The client is one of the world's largest contract manufacturers of consumer packaged goods, manufacturing and packaging products for many leading Fortune 500 companies. This client is located between Sheboygan & Milwaukee, WI. This is a full-time, direct hire position.
Responsibilities:
Ensure all sites compliance to all Federal, State, and Local S/H/E regulatory requirements
Ensure all sites compliance to all customer S/H/E requirements
Conduct Safety Audits at all sites
Coordinate all safety meetings within company
Correspond to all S/H/E regulatory communications
Submit required reports and documents to regulatory agencies and customer contacts in a timely manner
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) in Safety or related field and three to five years related experience and/or training
Knowledge of OHSA and EPA regulations related to a manufacturing environment
Industry experience a plus (liquid filling)Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
