Accounting Specialist II
Purpose:
The Accounting Specialist will provide accounting support to major financial accounting areas including payroll, accounts receivable, accounts payable, production reporting and special projects. They will interact with all departments within the operation to provide accounting and operation information as needed. The positions works closely with the controller to maintain accurate accounting records, issue various financial and production reports on a, daily, weekly and monthly basis and assist with financial close at month end.
Required
Qualifications:
Five or more years general accounting experience.
Demonstrated oral and written communication skills.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple responsibilities.
Strong attention to detail.
Excellent phone skills.
Strong people skills, with the ability to work with a variety of personalities from diverse backgrounds.
Strong computer skills; knowledge of all Windows applications. Able to create and maintain Excel spreadsheets.
Preferred
Qualifications:
Two year accounting degree
Familiarity with the corrugated packaging industry
Experience with SAP and Witron
