Solar Marketing Specialist
We're looking for passionate, energetic, and goal-oriented people to join our rapidly expanding Solar Marketing Team. The desire for solar energy - and specifically Sungevity - is exploding and we need people who can help us sustain and build on this momentum.
The Solar Marketing Specialist will engage with potential customers, educate them, and increase their interest level to obtain a qualified request for an iQuote from Sungevity.com and a consultation by phone with a solar sales expert.
Hours: Part time, three weekdays: 9am-3pm or 12pm-6pm
Pay: $14/hour plus generous lead generation bonuses
The Role
The Solar Marketing Specialist (SMS) will work out of the local Lowes, our partner's home improvement store, and will proactively engage, educate, and excite potential customers about the possibility of going solar, ultimately encouraging them to get an iQuote from Sungevity. This is a fantastic opportunity to be a part of a company experiencing rocket-ship like growth, uncapped earning potential and to join an industry experiencing a tremendous boom!
The SMS role is not for everybody, though - you'll need to be driven, enthusiastic and relentless in your pursuit of furthering the Rooftop Revolution. If you're the right fit, you are a proactive person and ready to bring that to your work, excited about engaging customers and a self-starter always thinking about ways to improve. You are somebody who is familiar with success and thrives on it. You describe yourself as a people person who loves customers - and they love you, too!

Responsibilities
o Generate leads via retail sales techniques; engage, qualify and excite the customer
o Maintain marketing collateral in displays
o Complete accurate, timely and daily recap reports
o Consistently meet or exceed quota
o Available to work weekdays 9am-3pm or 12pm-6pm
Other Qualifications
o Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Google Docs, Google Chrome or Firefox browser, and iPads
o Willing and able to be in a retail environment and stand for extended periods
o Positivity, tenacity, and ability to handle rejection
o Flexible and adaptable
o Reliable access to transportation, as needed, to travel to/from multiple retail locations
o Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record that meets Sungevity's criteria and a willingness to travel (this position may require traveling to other local sites, rare out-of-town travel may be required for training and conferences)
o 18 years of age minimum
o Multilingual a plus
