P/T Occupational Health Nurse - 20 hoursRN certification required.
As far as Audiometric certification, prefer existing certification, but we would consider sending for training.

Responsibilities:
Provide emergency care to injured and/or ill patients which includes evaluation, treatment, counseling and documentation to patients health records, perform health surveillance testing, administer modalities prescribed by physicians, give presentations to groups of employees on health-related topics.
Job involves working some time as a lone-operator to cover vacation/illness/general time-off, schedule, initialize and prepare all paperwork for Health Preventive exams, repeat tests, and reviews (including hearing tests), provide and log evaluation/treatment of minor illness inquiries and/or properly refer patient to the Covenant Health Care Occupational Health Services, hospital or to patients family physician, respond to all emergency calls (during normal working hours, i.

, not on call 24 hours) provide continuity of daily patient care/case management in absence of site R.

Workers Comp, FMLA, LTD, RTW, maintain the necessary drugs and medical supplies needed in the operation of the Medical Department, administer influenza, tetanus and Hepatitis B immunizations.
Perform light secretarial duties including, but not limited to, typing and filing, assist in planning and administration of employee Health Promotion programs.
Skills required:
Must be a Registered Nurse with Basic Cardiac Life Support/CPR certification and two to five years of nursing experience.
Prefer Certification in Hearing Conservation and Spirometry /Pulmonary Function testing.
Need to obtain instructor training/certification to teach Standard First Aid/Community CPR and AED Course.
Emergency department experience and a strong background in preventive medicine is preferred.
Computer experience preferred, excellent oral and written communication skills, high quality professional ethics and confidentiality.
