Job DescriptionThis is an exciting opportunity to be part of an outstanding team of engineers developing products for the leading Cable MSOs of the world.
The team's Workforce Management products are used to manage tens of thousands of technicians worldwide on a daily basis, and are considered mission critical systems for our customer's operations.
In this role, you will develop customer facing web applications in an important software product that saves our customers millions of dollars.
You will be a key member of a product development team consisting of product developers, product managers, and customer application experts charted with rapid development of mobile workforce management software.
We're looking for someone with a proven ability to design and develop automation and supporting applications that interface to distributed core software in a technically dynamic environment.
You will:
o Develop tools and automation for enterprise class mobile and web applicationso Create integration and unit tests for mobile, desktop, and web services.
o Resolve technical problems and provide engineering support to assess customer needs and solve field issues.
o Conduct technical presentations/demonstrations as necessary.
o Participate in source code control and software release activitieso Perform other duties as required.
Required Skillso Experienced with Microsoft C#,.
NET, Coded UI, and Unit Testingo Familiar with REST, JSON, and IISo Familiar with SQL databases, queries, and schema creationo Familiar with HTML, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScripto Solid understanding of unit and integration testing techniques and methodso Familiar with Agile development methodologies such as SCRUMo Effective written and verbal communication skills.
o Effective time managemeRequired Experienceo BS Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology or equivalent required.
o 10-13 years of related experience, with at least 3 years professional experience developing enterprise software using Microsoft technologieso Large scale development experience required.
