Position Description

This position is responsible for handling all correspondence related to an insurance or patient account, contacting insurance carriers, patients and other facilities as needed to get maximum payment on accounts and identify issues or changes;
Follow up of outstanding A/R all payers and/or including self pay and/or including resolution of denials;
Provide assistance to Supervisors in multiple areas, ensuring successful daily operations.

Qualifications
Minimum Requirements
5
years work experience, medical billing and research experience required and demonstrated leadership skills and/or abilities.
Critical Skills
Additional Knowledge & Skills
Excellent understanding of the A/R process. Is capable of training others and answering questions from co-workers when necessary. Strong analytical and interpersonal skills and ability to interact with senior level clients, and high level of computer literacy with command of office software including excel spreadsheets, pivot tables and PowerPoint presentation. Good knowledge of healthcare, government and/or insurance industry. Group leader position, all of the skills of a level 2 employee including filling in for Supervisor in their absence. Must be organized, detail oriented and able to multi-task efficiently and work well with others.

High School Diploma or equivalent work experience

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
