Parts Quality Engineer
The Parts Quality Engineer is responsible for investigating, analyzing and correcting problems of supplier parts through collaborative partnerships within the company and with suppliers to ensure the incoming quality and functionality of these parts. This position is available immediately and is on a day shift.
Responsibilities:

Align with Supplier Quality Engineering (SQE) on boundary samples
Review trial parts and provide line support
Report part readiness for launch to SQE team
Lead corrective action and root cause analysis using problem solving methods and continuous improvement techniques
Support production floor on supplier related issues, process improvements, and cross-functional activities to achieve the quality, safety and production goals of MBUSI
Initiate and approve sorting activities utilizing 3rd party to include in-house, yard areas and sequencing center
Initiate containment activities in-house and feedback to SQE/ Supplier
Initiate supplier notification and initial problem solving documentation
Communicate and coordinate information between MBUSI and Engine/Trans plants regarding part quality
Coordinate and manage part campaigns for retrofit/rework of engine/trans commodities

Job Requirements
Required Education:
MUST speak German language/ have German language skills
2-5 years of experience in the Engineering function within a manufacturing environment
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related area or the equivalent combination of education and experience
Skills:
Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Project)
Capable of using hand measurement tools
Understand GD&T and SPC analysis
Ability to pass color match test
Understands and can enforce the basic requirements of a quality system within an automotive manufacturing environment
Working knowledge of specific manufacturing processes, for example, chassis drive train components including manufacturing experience in welding, stamping, injection/blow molding, casting, and machining
Should have knowledge of all power train components including brake, suspension, exhaust, steering, HVAC, engine and transmission systems
Strong problem solving skills required using established methodologies including 8-D, 5-WHY, DOE, Red X, etc
Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required
Preferred Skills: Autocad, Catia, Coordinate measurement machine, CAD, FMEA, Faro Arm, German languageEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
