Quality Engineer
Essential Duties
Collect and analyze Statistical Process Control, Field Failure, and Vendor Quality Performance data; establish Vendor Quality performance standards; participate in the vendor approval process through quality surveys and approval to quality standards.
Establish Quality Assurance policies and procedures and maintain associated manuals.
Identify appropriate inspection or manufacturing verification points to assure detection of defects or discrepancies at a point early enough in the process to afford correction of the process and minimize the production of discrepant product.
Serve as Preventative / Corrective Action focal point for internal, customer, and vendor-related discrepancies.
Interface with customers, vendors and various company departments to resolve any quality issues
Procedure development in accordance with AS9100 requirements.
Qualifications
BS in an Engineering discipline.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
