CSI is actively seeking a Medical Claims Processor for our client in the Scottsdale, AZ area.
Title: Claims Processor
Duration: Temp to Perm
Hours: Full-Time
Location: Scottsdale, AZ
Claims Processor Description:
This position is responsible for accurate and efficient daily adjudication of claims in a production environment from electronic image.
Claim processors must maintain department service levels and integrity of claims receipts in accordance to standard claims operating and adjudication procedures.
Candidates will attend a training course on site which includes compliance and regulatory requirements, system navigation and comprehensive claims processing. Once training is complete the candidate will be able to accurately resolve pending claims using state and federal regulations and specific health plan criteria
Job Requirements:
Qualifications:
A minimum of 1 year of medical/pharmacy/dental claims experience desired
Strong typing skills with speed and accuracy, as well as intermediate grasp on Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook software
Ability to respond to inquiries in a prompt, professional and accurate manner to encourage positive business relationships between external and internal partners.
Ability to think logically in following procedures and instructions
Ability to work in a team setting while pursuing personal and departmental production goals daily
Ability to organize in a multi-demand and multi-priority environment
Candidate must be team oriented and self motivated to work in a highly productive and changing environment.
No time may be missed during training or your first month of contract
Maintain high confidentiality standards
Utilize proper grammar, spelling and punctuation
Efficient time management and organization
Ability to work overtime as necessary and required; shifts vary and may include weekends
