Lead Web Developer
The day to day magic:
The basic function of this position is to guide and collaborate with the web development team to produce and support a variety of digital products. The position will collaborate with teams across all divisions to ensure client satisfaction in development of support and revenue web applications. This position will work closely with other web developers and the creative team. The position will be responsible for development of the team members, take charge of the new initiatives & support of existing digital products. This position is full-time, exempt level position. Hours are generally 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday but when things need to get done, we make it happen.
Responsibilities Include:
Design, implement, test and deploy web apps to various ecosystems.
Collaborate with creative team, clients and Ad Ops to ensure the organization's needs are met.
Demonstrate a willingness to learn new technologies and tackle the unfamiliar.
Display strong problem solving skills and attention to detail in solving business problems.
Solid analytical and organizational skills.
Ability to participate fully in the development process, including visual design, rather than being limited by coding to spec.
Interact effectively with clients both from a technical development and support standpoint.
Thrive in an agile development environment, which is often in startup mode.
Basic
Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.

years of professional web development experience using MySQL, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
3
Years of Ruby on Rails, Shell, and Git experience.
Experience in an agile development environment.
Nice To Have:
BDD/TDD, NoSQL, PHP, SCSS, CSS Framework, and NIX Server experience a plus
Ability to discuss diy, photography, music, cycling, motorsport, and the great outdoors also a plusBCI is a drug free
