Summary:
The Econometrician/Healthcare Statistician/Advanced Analytics Manager will be responsible for the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of advanced analytical processes. Using an advanced knowledge of applied statistics, healthcare industry trends, and organizational metrics, this manager will coordinate across service lines and departments to manage the process of collecting and interpreting operations and market data. Will create a metrics strategy and develop practices to identify data needs, collect and interpret, prepare scorecards and operations dashboards that may include, but not be limited to service levels, operations costs, revenues, quality, human capital, community benefit, marketing, and financial health. This role will also work with other data analysis and leaders to improve the manner by which we collect data and prepare it for decision making. This role will also advise service line leaders and department leaders in identifying best practice measures and analytics for existing and future initiatives. The Advanced Analytics Specialist will support other analytics management efforts of strategic planning, financial feasibility studies, development of product lines and services, and key decision making process to improve organization effectiveness. All activities will be performed in support of the strategy, vision, and values of Phoebe. oDemonstrates competency at all levels in providing care to all patients based on age, sex, weight, and demonstrated needs. For non-clinical areas, has attended training and demonstrates usage of age- specific customer service skills.
oAdheres to the hospital and departmental attendance and punctuality guidelines
oDemonstrated ability to create, follow and complete a project plan
oProven ability working cross functionally with stakeholders
oDemonstrated ability to mentor business analysts
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
