Verifies customer order specifications, including any special work instructions before beginning the order, based on information contained in the customer order jacket. o
Determines that all raw materials and supplies needed to produce the order are available before beginning production.
o Sets up production equipment according to written set of customer order specifications.
o Follows established work instructions for every step in the production process or the specific piece of production equipment. o
Monitors quality of work-in-process or finished goods at each step in the production process.
o Uses principles of statistical process control in production process, and makes adjustments if tolerances reach upper or lower limit values of order specifications.
o Operates production equipment consistent with rated speeds that will both promote maximum efficiency while producing a quality customer product. o
Completes all paperwork related to production order.
o Maintains a clean and orderly work area. o
Follows established safety policies.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
