Job Summary
JOB PURPOSE: Provides basic care needs of the residents including assisting with ADLs, conducting activities, assisting at mealtimes and, if applicable, assisting residents with medication.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: Must posses the ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Previous experience working with older adults preferred. PA: Must be 18 years of age or older unless they are on the PA nurse aide registry; must have a high school diploma, GED diploma or have an active status on the PA nurse aide registry. DE: Must be 18 years of age or older. MD: Must be 18 years of age or older; or 21 years of age if not supervised by someone who is at least 21 years of age. Must be able to successfully complete required medication training as required by state regulations and facility policy. Must relate well to employees, residents and visitors.
