Modis is seeking experienced Sr SQL DBA / Developer for one of their clients Our Client, Located in Radnor, PA; is the leader in their Industry.

Responsibilities include:
You'll be half of a two-person Data Services team which oversees all regions e.
g.
, development, production, etc.
You'll administer standalone, clustered, and virtualized SQL Server instances; install, patch, configure, backup, manage jobs, and monitor all instances.
You'll work with developers to tune their statements and scripts, model schema changes, and develop scalable routines.
You'll develop and maintain ETL processes using SSIS.
You develop and maintain reports written in SSRS, T-SQL, and PowerShell.
You'll keep up on data technology trends, prototype ideas, and work with team members to resolve business and technical problems.
Required Experience & Skills Bachelor's Degree in computer science or software engineering from an accredited college or university or 8 or more years of applicable work experience 5 or more years administering SQL Server in standalone, clustered, and virtual environments with tasks including backup, job management, installation, patching, configuration 5 or more years creating and modify databases objects with specific experience creating stored procedures, functions, triggers, and views Expert in the following with SQL Server:
transactional replication, log shipping, always-on, tracing (extended-events is a bonus), manages instance and database security, database file distribution, instance configuration, and administration Expert in tuning other's SQL/T-SQL; explains mechanics and benefit of recommendations Practiced in the design, creation and modification of relational schemata (OLAP and OLTP) and diagraming and documenting model changes; experience with patterns is a plus Design, create, modify, and deploy ETL jobs with SSIS Design, create, modify, and deploy reports with SSRS; experience with PowerPivot is a bonus Strong organizational and problem solving abilities Strong verbal and written communication skills For immediate consideration, please reply through this website or directly (Email Address Withheld by Request) or call (610) 832-2209.
