What We NeedMS Companies is currently looking for a Quality Supervisor to help lead our operations in your area. As a Quality Supervisor, you'll manage a team of inspectors for our clients in the manufacturing and automotive industries. You will be responsible for maintaining customer satisfaction while providing a safe work environment for employees; auditing for compliance to quality objectives; assisting with on time delivery of associates, accurate time and data entry; case management supporting profitability; and coaching, training, mentoring, and leading associates as step to improve morale and increase retention. What you'll do:Other key responsibilities include:
Maintaining safe and clean work environments by educating and directing personnel on the use of all control points, equipment, and resources; maintaining compliance with policies and procedures.Developing clearly defined work instructions.Providing quality manufacturing support by compiling, initiating, sorting, and analyzing production records and suggesting and implementing cost reductions.Maintaining quality by monitoring the process, control points, equipment, personnel and resources.Communicating work expectations to employees; monitoring and appraising job results; enforcing systems, policies, and procedures; coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees as required.Maintaining collaborative relationship with customers through communication and cooperation.Maintaining quality staff and service by training employees; developing personal growth opportunities and enforcing company standards.
Completing production plan by scheduling and assigning personnel as necessary
Entering time, data, and other business inputs into automated system in an accurate and timely fashion to maintain customer satisfaction and employee morale.Resolving personnel problems by employee complaints and collaborating with Human Resources.
Physical Requirements:
Individuals may need to sit or stand as needed. May require walking primarily on a level surface for periodic periods throughout the day. Reaching above shoulder heights, below the waist or lifting as required to file documents or store materials throughout the work day. Proper lifting techniques required. May include lifting up to 25 pounds for files, computer printouts on occasion.The performance of this position may occasionally require exposure to the manufacturing areas where under certain areas require the use of personal protective equipment such as safety glasses with side shields and mandatory hearing protection.Environmental factors may vary by location in terms of temperature, noise, dust
What you'll bring to the job
High School Diploma or equivalent experience required. Associate's or other two year technical degree preferred. 1-3 years previous leadership or supervisory experience preferably in a Manufacturing or Production environment.Experience with creating work instructionsStrong computer skills desiredExperience working directly with customersKnowledge and demonstrable practical application of Lean manufacturing models, processes, and applications as well as a strong background in trainingAbility to maintain the professional competence, knowledge, and skills necessary for the satisfactory performance of all assigned responsibilitiesStrong analytical, problem solving, delegation, and conflict resolution skills as well as adaptability and the desire to make a positive differenceSuperior team leadership, interpersonal, and organizational skills

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
