Class A CDL job starting at .50 cpm - Home weekends
This is a Class A CDL position. Please do not apply for the job if you do not hold a valid Commercial drivers license. I do not have any type of training or schools.
This is a Dedicated regional account that hubs out of Ferdinand IN. You will be hauling kitchen and bathroom cabinets that are packed individually in cardboard boxes (average weight is 50-75 lbs). You will pull the freight in a 53 ft dry van using a Mid Roof Conventional tractor. The truck is assigned to you and you are able to take it home for your time off. You will make retail store, kitchen showroom and jobsite deliveries to customers. This account delivers almost exclusively to the Northeast and Midwest states. Primarily these stops are live unloading with the driver helping tailgate the freight and we provide dolly/equipment including company scanner phone to document piece count, damages, etc.
The starting pay on the account is .50 cpm running an average of 2100 miles per week. There is also a $26.00 dollar stop pay that is paid at each stop. Starting weekly average pay of $1,250.00. . Any week a driver makes less than $1000 gross, his/her pay will be bumped to the $1000 guarantee by the account manager.
You are home weekly for 48 hours on the weekends. The following schedules are available:
Sun-Thurs, Mon-Fri or Tues-Sat . The account is out of Ferdinand but I will be hiring out of several other cities.
