We are recruiting for a top manufacturing company dedicated to producing industrial Co2 and liquefied natural gas units. Our client is a world leader in cryogenic plant design and fabrication, supplying fully integrated modularized plants all over the world.
Immediate opening for a Certified Welding Inspector. Qualified candidate must have pipe welding knowledge/experience and the ability to work all shifts.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
Monitor and audit the work of the shop craftsmen
Auditing and documenting: Weld joint preparation, tack-up, root pass, cover pass.
Witness hydro/pneumatic testing
Witness and verify the fit-up and bolt-up of all flanged connections
Verify/inspect piping has been properly prepared for hydro testing
Monitor and audit the field installation and preservation of piping installed
Monitor and verify documentation of the testing, repairs, and adjustments
