Brake Press Department Lead- 1st Shift and Direct Hire! Brake Press Department Lead- 1st Shift Directly supervises 7-10 employees in the Forming Department.
Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
Responsibilities include training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Summary Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
Assists shop supervisor in coordinating activities of workers engaged in forming processes in manufacturing.
Sets up machines for specific jobs.
Verify all counts are correct on completed production orders and that parts match blueprint they are associated with.
Assigns workers to certain machines to meet production requirements.
Interprets process specifications for workers.
Monitors production and adjusts work assignments, supply of material, and machine operation when necessary.
Transports materials/products in and out of forming department.
Repairs press brake machines.
Refers extensive machine repairs to maintenance personnel.
Confers with shop supervisor to receive instructions and exchange production information.
Tests random parts samples to verify parts meet specifications.
Informs supervisor of any parts made incorrectly and files appropriate documents.
Trains workers in equipment operation.
Requirements:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and at least two years of related experience or training in operation of brake presses and overseeing employees.
Ability to handle conflict.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Ability to work overtime and occasional Saturdays when requested.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
