Graphic Designer (Email)

Aquent's client is looking for an Digital Designer to work on design and developing E-mailers, promos, ad banners and seasonal content specials.
This is a contract position, with regular business hours M-F. Opportunity to extend if things go well.
This position will ensure delivery of top notch digital work within tight timelines, while maintaining support of strategy, brand and direction. Must have past experience with Web/E-mail design and best practices! Must know HTML and CSS. Familiar with Jquery and Javascript. Must understand Responsive Web design and have the ability to develop E-mails that provide an optimal viewing experience across a wide range of devices (from mobile to desktop).
Duties to include:
o Design and develop E-mailers, promos, ad banners and seasonal content specials.
o Demonstrate best practices for E-mail/Web design and development.
o Ensure that all digital marketing content is designed to support client's marketing strategy and adheres to all brand guidelines.
o Assist the Creative Design Manager and team in facilitating the production process.
o Exhibit good communication, conceptualization, design and organizational skills.
o Maintain knowledge of new techniques and technologies in creative Web/E-mail design and related software.
o Work effectively under pressure, ensuring that all design work meets or exceeds client deadlines and production standards.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
o PORTFOLIO showing samples of coding/design

years experience in Digital Design. If you are a recent grad or junior level but have great internship or freelance experience, OK to apply!
o Understanding of Responsive Web design and the ability to design and develop E-mails that provide an optimal viewing experience across a wide range of devices (from mobile to desktop);
o Must know HTML, CSS, JavaScript and Jquery. Creative Suite/Photoshop knowledge helpful.
o 4-year degree in design advertising or related field HELPFUL -- or equivalent relevant work experience
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
