As this Production Planner you will collaborate with customers to determine their project needs. You will also:
Devise the most efficient and cost-effective method to complete clients projects.
Use existing production knowledge to provide preliminary quotes to customers.
Coordinate with outside vendors to obtain accurate pricing for services and materials as well as negotiate the best pricing.
Revise project specifications as needed based on new customer information.
Oversee proofing or platemaking services by acting as the Project Manager of these activities.
This Production Planner requires:
Substantial experience within the printing and Lettershop industries.
Familiarity with project management systems such as Printstream.
Exceptional skills in estimating, customer service, and negotiation.
