The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in business, health, or a related field and strong management skills/experience. MPA, MPH, or MBA preferred. Candidates must have strong communication skills, proficient computer skills, and strong analytical skills. Experience in writing documents to internal and external affiliated parties is required however grant writing is preferred. Candidates must be proficient in Microsoft Office, especially spreadsheets, presentations, and reporting tools. Possess the ability evaluate, interpret, and present complex information effectively in professionally prepared documents or presentations and demonstrate attention to detail in order to achieve a high degree of accuracy
JOB DESCRIPTION
Manages research operations for Departmental programs and/or projects for functional areas or specialized units to ensure conformance with University policies and procedures
Manages and supervises research programs including assistance with data analysis and interpretation, manuscript preparation, grant submission, and presentation of work to appropriate parties
Provides direction within Departmental programs and has signatory authority for the Department and assumes full authority for making commitments on administrative policies and procedures
Develops administrative project plans associated with partnerships and other business ventures, represents the Department and serves as a liaison to other University personnel and outside professional organizations and groups, and serves as a resource providing general information and problem resolution for operational activities
Prepares research budget and monitors and approves expenditures related to studies to ensure compliance with University policy and agency requirements
Creates related reports to ensure compliance with University policy and other contractual arrangements
Maintains appropriate records and study documentation, including consents and WSU Institutional Review Board (IRB) submission of new protocol documentation, study continuances, and closure forms
Assesses regulatory training and protocol maintenance, reviews schedules, monitors progress, identifies problems, and develops strategies for resolution
Works with staff and social media organizations to determine, compile, and edit content as necessary
Performs other duties as assignedEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
