Develops sources of clients by using referrals and occupational groups to compile lists of prospects.
Approaches potential clients by utilizing phone solicitation and making presentations to groups at company-sponsored gatherings;
Determines clients' particular needs by scheduling fact-finding appointments;
Developes a coordinated protection plan by calculating and quoting rates for immediate coverage action and long-term strategy implementation.
Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
Enhances insurance agency reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
