Human Resources Manager

Position purpose is responsible for assisting in developing, administering and maintaining compliance for a broad range of complex Human Resource functions, including, but not limited to: Leave Administration (Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), American with Disabilities Act (ADA), performance management, employee relations, employment policies, worker's compensation, and staff development. Position will partner with managers and employees to diagnose and resolve employee issues in a manner consistent with policies, procedures and state and federal laws and Head Start regulations. Provides support in the area of employee relations, investigations and compliance.

Minimum Qualifications
Incumbent is required to have demonstrated knowledge and abilities in these areas:
BA degree in human resources, business administration or related field with five (5) years' experience, in Human Resources, or a combination of education and experience;
Working knowledge of employment law and Human Resources best practices;
Knowledge of worker's compensation regulations and processes;
Knowledge of leave regulations (FMLA, ADA, etc.)
Proven track record in employee/labor relations;
Proven track record in coaching/counseling supervisors and employees;
Proven track record in conducting internal investigations;Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
