Tax Accountant for a boutique CPA firm
A dynamic, fast-growing CPA Firm is seeking a Tax Accountant to join our team. We are an established 11 person full service CPA Firm located in Huntington Beach, California.
You must be well versed in tax policy, maintaining work paper standards, and able to train staff accordingly. Strong communication skills are a must. You must have experience with Internal Revenue Service audits.
We are a highly motivated and well coordinated team with high standards, responsiveness and cutting edge strategies that our clients have come to count on.
Your routine tasks will include:
o Interface with our professional staff to maintain and improve our standard work paper formats
o Research and resolve tax issues
o Maintain quality control by reviewing tax returns and files
o Ability to prepare complicated returns
Required
Qualifications:
o Advanced tax degree or CPA designation preferred
o At least 7 years of CPA firm experience
o Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, and Outlook
o Highly organized, analytical thinker, self motivated
o Ability to manage time and adhere to deadlines
o Clear communication skills, upbeat personality
o Hard working and punctual
o Willingness to be a part of a purposeful, friendly, and motivated culture
