DIRECTOR, YERVOY ADJUVANT MELANOMA The Director, Yervoy Adjuvant Melanoma will play a key role on the BMS Oncology US brand team for Yervoy, an oncology drug in Phase III development in multiple tumors.
This individual will lead go-to-market strategy and execution in the US for Yervoy in Adjuvant Melanoma treatment.
Primary responsibilities will include:
Development of a US-focused launch plan - building on ongoing worldwide planning activities - and leadership of its execution across a large matrix team.
Among other projects, this individual will lead professional communication platform/message development, US label optimization and core professional promotional material creation in Yervoy Adjuvant Melanoma, and will collaborate with other matrix team members on customer model innovation.
This will be accomplished while keeping larger immuno-oncology franchise interests in mind.
Manage and lead one direct report, as well as across the matrix organization.
Qualifications Minimum 6 to 8 years pharmaceutical experience, with 3 to 5 years of marketing experience.
MBA preferred.
Proven leadership skills are required.
Prior HCP marketing experience with customer insight mining, positioning, message development and testing, media planning and optimization, and agency management strongly preferred.
Exceptional marketing analytics capability strongly preferred.
Prior experience managing and developing direct reports strongly preferred.
Deep understanding of the oncology space is preferred.
Experience in the Melanoma market and/or other adjuvant therapies preferred.
Proven track record of effectively driving performance within a matrix organization, and a strong ability to build alignment and collaborative working relationships.
Acts with a sense of accountability and urgency.
Strong organizational and interpersonal skills, with proven project management skills.
Knowledge and experinece in navigatinf the regulatory approval process and other relevant codes of practice.
