Chief Financial Officer/ Head of Strategy
OUR CLIENT is currently seeking a hands-on Chief Financial Officer with proven experience in Software as a Service and knowledge of the financial services industry that they serve. This is a senior level executive responsible for establishing and maintaining the enterprise vision, strategy and program to ensure the protection of OUR CLIENT'S' information assets, facilities and employees. The individual should have a strong balance of business acumen with finance and strategy. The CFO is responsible for providing leadership on critical items including: key liaison between the CEO, Executive Management, strategic and financial planning; asset/liability management; manager of external vendors, including external auditors and tax advisors; and leadership of the finance and accounting team.
Job Responsibilities
Compile, analyze, and report financial data to explain economic phenomena and forecast market trends valuable to the company.
Analyzing Cost of Customer
Strong understanding of revenue recognition as it relates to SaaS.
Ability to analyze complex revenue agreements involving multiple deliverables spanning multiple years
Creating a process to analyze various costs of doing business (cost of customer acquisition, customer profitability, etc) relevant to SaaS environment.
Develop guidelines and standards and present trends for use in formulating strategic policy.
Creating profitable pricing programs and enhancing existing programs
Analyze the performance or position of the company, and other SaaS entities.
Recommend actions for the CLIENT or the System to take based on that analysis.
Perform a rigorous review of its financial performance and developing and implementing specific steps required delivering top tier industry performance.
Instill broad based financial acumen throughout the Company's operating divisions.
Establish rigorous analytical tools and processes to Financial and operating reports (dashboard) clearly delineating division and company performance, along with recurring meetings to evaluate progress against goals, and against market benchmarks, are required.
Manage efforts to develop and refine Client's strategies, e.g., business, customer, financial, technology, operational and HR strategies.
Work with business managers across the Client to help drive successful execution of approved strategies.
Required Skills
At least 6 years experience working in a SaaS environment
Expert knowledge of QuickBooks and Netsuite
Advanced knowledge of Intacct Revenue Management
Knowledge of working capital requirements, Cost of customer acquisition, overhead allocation, and customer profitability
Must have experience with complex revenue agreements involving multiple deliverables spanning multiple years
Ability to coordinate with other departments to strategize and plan
Knowledge of SaaS and experience in booking revenue for software sales
Ability to analyze and compete with similar company structures
Undergraduate degree required. MBA or other graduate degree preferred.
Knowledge of economic and accounting principles and practices, the financial markets, financial services industry, and the analysis and reporting of financial data, including company financial statements.
Analyzing information and evaluating results to define problems, identify alternative solutions, recommend and choose the best solution to solve problems.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
