Service Technician
JOB TITLE: Service Technician (Birmingham, AL location)
FULL TIME: 40 Hours per week

Summary: Sets up and service repair of vending, beverage and refrigeration equipment.
Requirements and
Responsibilities:
Make accurate and timely diagnosis and repair of service related problems in all types of equipment including vending, beverage and refrigeration.
Complete service tickets, survey forms and record books legibly and accurately.
Must be familiar with refrigeration systems and be at least Type I certified in refrigerant recovery.
Must be willing to work flexible work hours including nights and weekends.
Minimum Qualifications/Requirements:
Must have valid driver's license.
Must be at least age 18.
Type I Refrigeration HVAC Certification required
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or 1 to 3 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Must have basic electrical and mechanical skills.
